I have grown this Delicata every year for about ten years for good reason.  The sweet flavor is the best of any Delicata.  With decent storage the fruits last forever into the Winter and don't moldly or soft.  Carol Deppe's breeding work is just top notch and I try to grow as many variaties of hers that I can.  Finally, the fruits are large but with a small seed cavity so you are getting the best bang for your buck.  Bred by Carol Deppe in Corvallis, Oregon.

Seed indoors in May or direct seed in mid May.  For best results give them 2-3 feet of space between plants
