Giant Orange Marigold

Marigolds are a must-have in the vegetable patch and these big bold orange ones are fabulous.  Harvest big blooms from robust, 4’ tall plants from late Summer til the first frost.  Many cultures uses these flowers in ceremony as they can be strung together in beautiful chains to honor the dead or the living. The chains dry well to last months.  Also use for bonatical dying for a strong orange color. 
 
Direct sow or transplant after last frost. Lightly cover seed-don’t plant too deep. 70 days to maturity.
