This popular speckled lettuce can be grown as cut and come again for salad mixes or as a whole romaine type head. Originally from Austria, this variety is heat tolerant and holds well in the garden all year round. This strain is from Seed Savers Exchange as I found it to have the most contrasting red and green speckles.
