Lepidium sativum
 
Really spicy little leaf with wasabi like flavor when raw.  Add a bit to spice up your salad or  chop it fine and sprinkle on any dish for a spicy kick. Grows 8-10 inches.  Harvest when leaves are small and tender for best flavor.  Flowers are beautiful. edible, and spicy too!   
I learned that florists use these as filler in bouquets as they go to seed.  So many uses for this wonderful plant!
 
Direct sow in early Spring through Fall; germinates easily.
