Clark's Beltony Blue Shelling Pea
$4.50Price
Pisum sativum
These plump juicy peas have a sweet, smooth flavor. Pink multicolored flowers and deep purple pods are stunners in the garden. Great eaten fresh or blanched. Freezes well. Shelling Peas take a bit of work but they are worth it. As the case of most shelling peas the pods are not edible-in fact they are quite tough- so pop open those pods and eat the fresh sweet green goodness inside! Grows to 3-4 feet- does best with trellis.
Sow in cool soils of March, Thin to 4”. Rare.
65 days to maturity.
