Classic garden chard with multicolored stems and large lush green leaves. Nice long stems for bunching. Harvest in the baby stage for a milder flavor and nice pop of color in your salad mix. Chard has a long harvest window-begin to pick in early summer from your Spring sowing all through Fall. If left in the ground to overwinter, this variety will predictably regrow lovely leaves again the following Spring.
Direct sow or transplant after last frost. Chard likes a bit warmer soil so I wait until late April or early May so they really get going quickly.
