Evening Primrose is a lovely addition to your garden. They grow to be 3-5 feet tall and flower from July through October. As the name suggests, the new flowers open at dusk. The whole plant is edible and medicinal and the flowers are especially nice to pop in your mouth or add to a meal. A biennial, they grow very well from seed and will self sow readily but won’t, in my opinion, take over you garden.
