Calendula, Resina

Calendula officinalis

Direct sow year round but most traditionally in Spring. Calendula is amazing in her ability to grow abundant flowers, set seed and then self sow. I have several calendula patches that are over fives years old as they will keep flowering, seeding, and germinating on their own schedule and provide year round edible flowers, medicine and delight if you let them. This variety is known for its high resin content for extra potent healing.

Sow seeds 1/4" deep and space 10" apart.  Days to maturity: 40

Packet contains ~100 seeds
